THE FOUR OBSTACLES TO PROGRESS PART 2

The Four Obstacles to Progress, as previously listed are… not listening keenly enough, struggling to let go, forgetting what’s really important, and not putting into practice those things that would help us reach our desired destination.  The modern way seems to be about speed above all else, but many of the things we need to cultivate, if we are seeking sustainable solutions, actually take time, and so require patience, focus, tenacity and compassion.  We need to respect the process, and the process in turn will respect us.

The purpose of these Bite Size Insights is to encourage poignant reflection on matters pertaining to the self, consciousness and one’s identity. We hope you will use them to help expand your understanding and experience of the metaphysical world, where the true narration of life can be heard. Take some time to consider their meaning and relevance to you and they will help you meet the angels of your better nature.

  • We deliberately use the term work in our model… life map work… shame work… dark room work, and we are not apologising for this. We clearly state that we can guarantee miracles… as long as you actually are willing to do the work.

  • Miracles are promised here, but miracles are made. If you want them to happen, you have to do something.

  • The Reach Approach is not about quick fixes, it’s about sustainable solutions and at every stage we need to remember… change is a process not an event.

  • We have to be aware of the cesspit of complaint because it will eat us alive.

  • Fear has no power other than that which you give it. It’s like a parasite… it’s drawing its strength from you.

  • It’s so liberating to feel the freedom that comes with daring to be oneself.

  • When something is really done, something really happens… something really changes. That is the power of application.

  • Practise sitting in humility… and power will naturally emerge.

  • The truth is, it’s often hard to remember. Forgetting is in our nature and once we accept that, we can start to remember.

  • Fall in love with what you do and it will remember you.

  • Remember… the biggest obstacle when it comes to progress is impatience.
