THE LAW OF EFFORT

The primary equation that underpins our work is: knowledge plus application equals personal power.  In fact, knowledge plus application will enable you to reach any goal where there is patience, perseverance, and heartfelt and sincere focus.

Below is a simple mathematical formula illustrating what happens when one makes small, consistent efforts over the course of a year.

As you can see, someone doing nothing over a year can expect nothing.  Interestingly, the person who does as little as 1% can achieve over 37 times more than the person who’s done nothing.

DOING NOTHING AT ALL

VS

MAKING SMALL CONSISTENT EFFORTS

(1.00) 365 = 1.00

(1.01) 365 = 37.7

This underlines another one of our fundamental tenets, which is: change is a process not an event.

Put another way, it’s by stringing together lots of little positive activities, over time, that we are most likely to create the change we ache for and desire… then even that which seems beyond our grasp becomes attainable.

So, doing something positive really is better than doing nothing at all.
