PEACE TREATY
Welcome all my sub-personalities. It is wonderful to have this opportunity to gather you all together and bind as one unified collective for a better tomorrow. I understand now that you were born out of need during the different challenges in my life. You helped me survive. You served your purpose and now it is time to grow into something new, strong and beautiful.
Controller, Inner Critic, Victim and Survivor
You were born during the challenging early years of my life. I became a victim who hated herself and thought very negatively. I was afraid and lacked any self-worth. I became fearful and afraid of the future, desperate and needy for love and affection. Controller, you used the Inner Critic to coerce, compel and force the Victim and Survivor to do your bidding, because you were impatient and afraid of losing your control. Victim, you in turn felt sorry for yourself and got stuck in ‘poor me’. Survivor, you in turn became desperate and used any means to find some momentary happiness.
Manipulator, Martyr and Rescuer
You were born to help me survive and cope with life. I catastrophized and became an attention seeker. Manipulator you were obsessive and single minded. You were closed and could not see the bigger picture. You were stuck in the moment to find a piece of happiness at any cost. I understand you desperately wanted approval and validation, so you worked with the Martyr, who in turn worked with the Rescuer to seek affirmation for your existence.
It is now time to turn these dysfunctional connections between you into virtuous ones….
Controller you are patient, empathic, diplomatic, self-aware and respectful. You are able to collaborate with the Survivor who is selfless, resourceful and tenacious. You now stop at nothing to get the best outcome… and for this I am grateful.
Survivor, you and the Manipulator are very creative in bringing about positive outcomes, and you now work well with the Martyr being very focused and present in each moment. Thank you for your cooperation.
Manipulator, your honesty, integrity, and tolerance work well with the Martyr to bring out the altruism, which is the foundation for who I am becoming. I am deeply moved by your support.
Martyr you bring calm, determination and compassion to the forefront. Your self-sacrificing nature is why I have a big heart, which is helping me to rise and shine.
Rescuer, you are supportive, a great facilitator and are trusting. You work well with the Manipulator helping me to be an enabler for the greater good, and work closely with the Inner Critic finding courage to forge forward regardless of fear. I owe you so much.
Inner critic, you are uplifting, helping me to rise above the challenges, you are kind with your judgements and do not put me down anymore. Your ability for introspection helps me find contentment. As a result I’m getting stronger each day.
Victim, you are cooperative, affirming, powerful and insightful. You and the Rescuer are heroic together and do not flee from challenges. Using the virtues of the Inner Critic you are very solution focused and find positive ways forward in any difficult scenario. Thank you for your creativity.
I can feel an energy shift between us. I am no longer a collection of acquired selves but one that is authentic and living her truth. Thank you for all your hard work. I am here because of you all. By integrating all the parts and becoming whole I truly feel connected to my higher self and it feels wonderful and beautiful. Together we are now a force to be reckoned with.
