THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

For us, whatever the question, synergy is the answer.  Synergy teaches us to embrace differences with love and respect and as a consequence healthy solutions are easily found.  Synergy creates cultures of cooperation and collaboration and eradicates conflict.  It’s time in the 21st century, for us to find a compassionate way to bridge our differences.  Synergy can help us in that task.

The opening words of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, drafted in 1948, are “All human beings are are born free and equal in dignity and rights.” These inspiring words are a guiding principle for the whole declaration but, looking around at the world we have made in the decades since they were written, it is clear that we have forgotten them and lost our way…

This is a film by Yulia Mahr and the sound track is by Max Richter.  There is a full length version of this film to follow.  This short version depicts in a simple and profound way how we as a species can come together in love.  The beautiful and emotive soundtrack reminds us of the deep connection between us all…

The problems of our world are of our own making, so the solutions can be too!  While the past is fixed, the future is as yet unwritten, and the declaration sets out an uplifting vision of a better and fairer world that is within our reach if we choose it. For this to happen, we need a ‘We… Not Just Me’ approach.
