Reach postgraduate training courses are now accredited by the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP) and The Complementary Medical Association (CMA).
Our courses have been specifically designed for counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, coaches and others with equivalent qualifications and experience.
We have been running courses on a variety of topics relating to the human condition for over 20 years and many have benefited from this training as part of their CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
Our courses are unique in their content and have always been delivered via one-to-one tuition or in small groups (no more than 8). This is because we place great emphasis on the quality of the content, ensuring the individual has both a comprehensive theoretical and experiential journey. We have found that this is much harder to achieve in both moderate sized and large groups where the dynamics can sometimes hinder how well the information is understood and absorbed.
This approach to our delivery will not be compromised going forward because we’re not interested in quantity i.e. simply producing more practitioners who better understand our approach. We’re interested in quality – which means producing therapists who experience the journey on offer and then marry that experience to the relevant theoretical frameworks – leading to more balanced, rounded and effective practitioners.
Our primary desire is to sustain and where possible extend the quality of what we have spent nearly 40 years creating. Our model is built on more than a decade of research and nearly 30 years in which we have made our philosophy and approach available to those in need.
And so we are pleased to announce that after several years of trying to find the best ‘fit’ for what we do, we have been able to meet the rigorous and specific criteria of the National Council of Psychotherapists accreditation process.
So as of January 2015, we will be running a Postgraduate Certificate in Holistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (HIP) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Holistic and Integrative Psychotherapy – both these courses are NCP accredited, successful students will therefore acquire a nationally validated qualification. A postgraduate certificate in coaching has now been launched under the banner of Coaching Plus. This will offer those who are either already coaches or are new to coaching a much more comprehensive model for working with the human condition. To find out more about Coaching Plus please click here.
