SUE MORRIS – REACH ASSOCIATE

We at Reach are very happy to introduce Sue Morris as an associate member of our team of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

Sue has completed our Certificate in Holistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (HIP) and truly excelled on that journey.  She is a wonderful champion of our approach as she too has experienced its benefits and capacity to heal, which is another reason we can vouch for her credibility and effectiveness.

Her extremely kind and compassionate nature is a huge asset when working with the multi-faceted nature of issues presented by clients.  Sue has a proven track record of being able to work with and support the most vulnerable, assisting them on the journey of becoming the best they can be.

Let’s hear what Sue herself has to say…

Hi, my name is Sue Morris and I am a qualified and experienced counsellor.  I offer help with a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, trauma recovery and addictions.

In this fast-paced, busy world the holistic approach offered by Reach is more relevant than ever.  It offers a wonderful way to gain insight into yourself and deal with life’s challenges while at the same time explore how self-care and self-nourishment can contribute to healing and self-development.

Coming from a background in complementary therapy where I worked for many years as a massage therapist and teacher, I completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Complementary Therapy.  I specialised in taking massage therapy and relaxation into care-homes and the workplace in order to relieve stress and promote well-being.

Qualifying as a counsellor was a natural progression and training with Reach to obtain the certificate in Integrative and Holistic Psychotherapy has been the perfect next step in allowing me to offer specialist tools, which can enhance self-awareness, optimise health on every level and/or help a client take their personal search for meaning to a deeper level.

My counselling experience has included working with young people, bereavement work for North Worcestershire Bereavement Support and working with alcohol issues at Impact Alcohol Advisory Service in Shropshire.  I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I feel very privileged to be a Reach associate and look forward to working with anyone who wishes to embark on their unique journey of self-discovery with me.
