Here’s what Maria has to say….

I am a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) and MICHT (Member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists) and the SMA (Sports Massage Association). My job is to tailor the treatment for you and ensure you feel at ease before, during and after the treatment.

The word holistic means whole…. conventional medicine tends to focus on the symptom or the part of the body that has the problem. The holistic approach takes into account the person as a whole. The aim of holistic therapy is to restore the body’s balance which in turn enables it to heal itself naturally.

Holistic therapies do not just have physical benefits, they help the mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of a person too.  Holistic treatments are also deeply relaxing. The treatments can benefit those with chronic conditions and can also work alongside conventional medicine to help alleviate symptoms of ill health and promote a feeling of well-being.

You are an individual, and from the moment you walk through the door you will be treated as one. Holistic therapies are also a wonderful way to help maintain a healthy body and mind. They are also great for dealing with the demands and stresses of everyday life.

So why not make time for you… and feel good about meeting your own needs?
