Satpal has been a dear friend of Reach for some time.  When I first met him I could feel the beauty of his soul.  I was deeply touched by his warmth and generosity of spirit.  That initial meeting felt like a reunion with an old and dear friend.

Satpal is an internationally certified Kundalini Yoga instructor and he has been teaching and sharing his passion and love of yoga with his students for years.

He has been blessed with having outstanding authentic internationally renowned Kundalini Yoga teachers including: Bibi Kalwant Kaur, Angad Kaur and Shiv Charan Singh.

He believes in the connection between the mind, body and spirit and encourages his students to approach their practice as a form of moving meditation. Attention to breathing is at the heart of his practice.  “Breath is the master key between the mind and body, and the quality of our life is dependent on the quality of our breath.”

In his classes he encourages awareness both mentally and physically in a nurturing way to allow students to learn, experiment and transform through their yoga practice. His philosophy is that when we have peace within, everything around us will seem peaceful and when we have love we have everything. Satpal also teaches various forms of mediation including:

Satpal uses his musical background and often uses guitar and harmonium to aid the Mantra and Transcendental meditations

Sessions are suitable for men, women and children of all abilities, including beginners.  Sessions can be arranged in the comfort of the client’s home or another venue to suit in the West Midlands region.  Satpal is based in Birmingham.

Satpal Singh – Personal Trainer

Satpal’s background is in martial arts and boxing.  He started his martial arts discipline back in the eighties with the Sikh School of Martial Arts, called Shin Kin and trained with the Ustad (Master) Kulvinder Singh.  He studied Shin kin for many years and then in 2009 started amateur boxing and trained under the likes of Richie Woodhall boxing World Champion.

Satpal has now stopped competing but continues to keep fit, with running, weight training, bag work, agility work, high intensity training and a range of cardiovascular training methods.

He has combined his wealth of experience in well-being, health and fitness and provides personal training to clients whatever their goals, whether it be, weight loss, toning up, gaining muscle, strength, or generally to get fitter, healthier and happier.

He is a keen nutritionist and gives nutrition advice and support to maximise health benefits.

Satpal tailors his functionally fitness sessions to the needs of the client, and is happy to go to clients with exercise equipment in the comfort of their own home, or another venue can be arranged.
