Order Creates Peace
Staying sane in an insane world
In our modern world everything is moving so fast that time literally feels as if it is slipping through our fingers. Each day merges into the next one, weeks are blurred by the pace and intensity of our activities, and before we know it another year has passed! This allows very few of us to really savour our lives as each moment slips away. To avoid the 'rocking chair of regret' we would highly recommend you make time in your life to gather special moments... A good place to start is with the mantra 'order creates peace' because until we find time to cultivate peace in our lives time will continue to slip away from us and so will our potential. Waste Weakens
Transcending Toxicity
"The secret of health is the removal of waste"... This is one of the underlying principles of The Reach Approach. We have long championed the idea that until you remove the obstacles to healing, recovery simply is not possible. The ancient Chinese and Indians both worked out long before modern medicine was born that health was not ours to give, it was a natural state. Our responsibility is to remove those things that block the flow of health, and once that is done healing can and does take place. Therefore to achieve optimum well-being we need to remove waste from all areas of our lives. To explore this subject further, please click here

Calendar 2012
Responding or Reacting?
The theme for the 2012 calendar is learning the art of responding rather than reacting. Reacting is an impulsive position which does not take time to properly consider the consequences of its actions; not until after the event. We generally refer to this as hindsight. Responding on the other hand is a more aware, considered and empathic position, which chooses to consider the consequences of its actions before it acts - this is better known as foresight. It is our proposition that those who respond rather than react achieve better outcomes and enjoy a peace of mind and happiness rarely experienced by those who simply react to life. Epigenetics
We are more than our genes
The debate between nature and nurture is another area where we are beginning to see it is not one thing verses another, in fact both things are needed in the shaping of the human story. Genes are an unquestionable force in our lives, but it is inaccurate to describe them as the most telling feature. We now know that it is the environment that those genes are exposed to that has the biggest influence on their expression. In other words environment matters no less! Epigenetics is the new science that is rapidly exposing the fact that we are certainly more than our genes. To discover more please click here
