PSYCHO-NUTRITION – ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION

This interview with Gary Johnston is an introduction to the science of nutrition for the mind and nervous system and an overview of what happens when the system starts to fail. Psycho-nutrition is closely related to orthomolecular medicine. Orthomolecular medicine is a branch of medicine/psychiatry that has recognized that deficiency in particularly micro nutrients is responsible for the malfunction of the brain, which in turn impacts negatively on the mind.

This video is a useful introduction to the subject for anyone suffering with anxiety, depression or more aggressive mental disorders. Gary Johnston is a psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist with over 30 years experience. He specializes in anxiety disorders and trauma and is considered an expert in the relationship between nutrition and mental health.
