Getsomeheadspace.com is a project that specialises in making meditation more accessible to all. Its primary objective is to demystify the subject and give those who are interested simple, practical steps for achieving a meditative state. Their methods and techniques are underpinned with good research for those who are interested in probing the subject further. They’ve helped make the ancient art of meditation more relevant for modern times. They offer 3 programmes, which are 10, 15 and 20 minutes in duration. The aim of their approach is to encourage the individual to find small pockets of time in which to practice each day and as a consequence discover how easily they can become more calm, confident and clear. This is a protocol we support because we believe ‘less is definitely more’, so taking a step by step approach, only increasing your practice when you’re naturally ready to, is the way to go.
