It's unbelievable to think another year has passed but here we are launching our 2012 calendar! This is now our ninth edition and we would like to think that this is the best one so far. Each year we have given the calendars a theme in the hope that they would focus the minds of those who are striving for self-improvement. Our yearly theme is then distilled down into monthly messages, which further help to clarify how that goal can be achieved.

The theme for 2012 is learning the art of responding rather than reacting. Reacting is an impulsive position which does not take time to properly consider the consequences of its actions; not until after the event. We generally refer to this as hindsight. Responding on the other hand is a more aware, considered and empathic position, which chooses to consider the consequences of its actions before it acts - this is better known as foresight. It is our proposition that those who respond rather than react achieve better outcomes and enjoy a peace of mind and happiness rarely experienced by those who simply react to life.
