VIVINE RILEY

We have worked with Vivine over many years supervising her therapeutic work and have found her to be a very committed therapist who champions each client for their uniqueness and courage.

Vivine brings not only her experience and skill of working with clients, but an authentic calmness and empathy. Her experience working in schools and organisations with young people of all ages has given her insight into the huge range of issues and challenges that young people often face.

Similarly with other age groups and life-challenges, Vivine has proven to be a very competent and safe pair of hands.  We are therefore happy to wholeheartedly endorse her and her work.

Here’s what Vivine herself has to say…

I am a Therapist, qualified since 2003, and a Clinical Supervisor; with a diploma in Gestalt Therapy and certificate in Integrative Supervision and also in Online Counselling. I work with individuals (children and adults), as well as with couples and families. I am experienced in training, facilitation and team management.

I am passionate about my work, and believe the greatest outcomes happen through establishing a safe and boundaried relationship with the client, which provides the backdrop for a good working alliance in which they can then trust the process of balancing support and challenge, to achieve their desired life changes.

I have extensive experience in working with numerous organisations supporting children and young people (from 5 years old), whether in a school, college or community setting, through various social and emotional needs; particularly children transitioning through abuse, behavioural issues, anxiety, depression, emotional and social challenges and changes. This includes sexual health, relational concerns, and self-harm. The process may sometimes include family therapy with the wider family members as a group. Where necessary, I liaise with on-site staff or external professionals to signpost clients when appropriate.

In addition, my experience includes supporting clients struggling with various disabilities, and also individuals living with, or impacted by life limiting illness through one to one and group activities. Liaising with schools, families, and other professionals where appropriate, offers a holistic approach to supporting client needs.

I support adults in a private setting, via personal enquiries or EAP referrals, to provide short and long-term therapy as appropriate. I work with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, family crises, bereavement/loss, trauma, and surviving childhood sexual abuse. I also provide clinical supervision to qualified and trainee therapists.
